This unique stackable chair was designed by Hans Brattrud as a student project at the National College of Art & Design in Oslo. In 1967 Brattrud received the gold medal from the Bavarian State Government along with “The Award for Design Excellence” from the Norwegian Design Council. Not only does the aesthetic and stackability make this chair a mid-century masterpiece, it also has ergonomic sensibility with lower back support and stable leg frames.
